Bad Driving is Dangerous!

Car crashes rank among the leading causes of death in the U.S., and what’s more, nearly two in the three drivers believe that aggressive driving is a bigger problem today than three years ago. Nine out of 10 believe aggressive drivers are a serious threat to their personal safety. Aggressive driving and road rage varied considerably among drivers. This book is a must read!

Most people think road rage is uncommon, but we’ve all seen road rage. It’s mostly caused by drivers taking unfair advantage of others. The person that cuts in front of the line or the person holding up traffic and not letting someone pass. When traffic is heavy and people want to get home, they get frustrated and that’s when road rage happens most.

Common angry behaviors reported of US drivers over the past year

  • Intentional tailgating – 51% (104M drivers)
  • Yelling at another driver – 47% (95M drivers)
  • Honking to show annoyance – 45% (91M drivers)
  • Making angry gestures – 33% (67M drivers)
  • Blocking a car from changing lanes – 24% (49M drivers)
  • Cutting off another vehicle on purpose – 12% (24M drivers)
  • Getting out to confront another driver – 4% (7.6M drivers)
  • Bumping another vehicle on purpose – 3% (5.7M drivers)

The Author

Why does bad driving set us off so quickly? I know there are more noble causes to explore, and maybe I need to get a life, but I am amazed at the stupidity and recklessness I see every day when I’m behind the wheel. Through the years, I’ve observed drivers’ bad habits and have come to the conclusion that regardless of age, socio-economic or educational background, ethnicity, culture, nationality, religion, race, or gender, the commong thread is a large percentage of drivers who need to be clued in on what not to do. Driver’s education at a young age is not enough and does not address what I call the “common sense” rules of the road. I understand I won’t reach all drivers, so my hope is to make the road safer, one driver at a time.

Customer Feedback

Don't just take our word for it! Here are some things our customers have so say about this fabulous book!

It’s been a while since I have read a book with my child, but considering they are close to driving, this is definitely going to be a book I share with them before they hit the road.
Jessica
What I see on the roads scares me. Things are getting out of hand and I truly believe that if these 50 rules were followed, our roads would be much safer.
James
I’ve never seen a book so clearly articulate the types of drivers that make me lose my cool. I wish anyone who drives would read this book!

Driver's Education

Road Rage is cited by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) as the leading cause of driving accidents. And while my title, Road Rage Justified, is tongue-in-cheek, Road Rage is real, dangerous, and terribly wrong. Yet, I’m convinced, if we follow certain rules and eliminate bad habits, aggressive driving will be minimized. This book will teach you 50 rules every driver should follow to make the road safer. It’s a modest investment, and we all know a few individuals who could use the education!
